An Expert on Social Work

The person that I choose is Jenny Moreno, I met her when I was doing the practice of my career in the year 2018, she was the teacher leader, she was on her first years working in the University of Chile, and it was my first time in the practice too. Jenny is one of the few professional in the social sciences in Chile who talk and write about natural disasters, especially about the resilience and I think about that topic is very interesting, she studied in the Universidad de Concepción and made his doctor grade on Europe, actually she is the person in charge about the coordination of the practice and also be the teacher guide.
Despite that I admire her for her work and all the things that she does, she is also a person with a lot of empathy, she likes to listen to all her students, and ask how are we doing, worrying about that, about or mental health, she is always thinking about the things going in the right way, and she is good in her work too, I really want all of you met her, she is really a good professional and good person!!!

My Favorite Festivity

Hi, I'm going to tell the story about my favorite festivity, Christmas. Christmas it's a festivity Catholic, celebrated on December 24, for the born of Jesus, the son of God, or that's the history for a lot of person, in my case, and a lot of Chileans, it's a day to stick together with the family, eat a lot of awesome food and gifts, I'm usually the person who buy presents to all the family, I like to think in the person to who I'm buying the present, and see their face opening it. It's just fantastic. That's the reason of why I like that much Christmas, nice food, a lot of gifts and stay with all my family ! P.S.: for that day usually dressed like Santa with my boyfriend or my sister, because I have two younger cousins, and we give to them a lot of presents with all the characterization, that day means a lot of fun!

Hello! My name is Sara Hidalgo, I'm studying social work at the faculty of social sciences at the University of  Chile, in this moment I'm learning English in my seventh semester of my career, I like this subject because I can talk with my aunt and cousin that live in Australia and they only speak English, so it is good for me, another reason is because I can listen to music always and understand the song, and also, watch movies or series like games of thrones in my house with my friends the Sunday's . In general the most difficult aspect the English for me is the English tenses, but I try to practice with someone that understands this, like my sister or my boyfriend and I want to read more to increase my vocabulary.So that is all!  Thanks for read me!

My favorite piece of technology

I'm going to tell the story about how I acquired my notebook, it was like a year ago, my parents give it to me because I had a notebook with a lot of years, it was very old but useful to me. It was time to renew it I needed the computer for the university, because the old one was too slow for all the things I needed to do there, and like I said before, my dad and mom buy it for that. I really don't like the new one for a long time, I missed my old computer because it had all my photos, but with the use and my boyfriend telling to me about the awesomeness about the new one I give it a chance. So now I really like the notebook, I didn't think about lose it until yesterday when I had some issues with the charger and realized that I should take care of it more often because my parents spend a lot of money on that.
