My Blogging Experience

About my experience in general, I liked writing blogs, since he has been able to develop my writing and above all, vocabulary, and I have forgotten some words, which over the years has been easily forgotten, it has also been remembered more easily. The times in English and some conjugations, when one is not practicing will forgot a lot, in addition, in the post, it is always written about the things that interest me, as well as the entertaining, some posts transports me to my home, or musicians, I also like to remember experiences, as well as in general it is a good mechanism to learn English. I would like to add the things we have seen in class, for example, describing places to indicate how to get to these places, where I used to write in the past and also in the future, although it was implicitly specified in the messages, I could also be about hobbies, I do not know, but I think it could be interesting. A day to remember

 There is a day that I will never forget, and I will always be in my memory, that day was a Sunday in the morning when the results of the postulation to the universities. That day I wake up early because the anxiety of the results, I eat breakfast, always remember the eggs that I made, and the cuo of tea that I drank, but I was so nervous that I only eat the half. Later I was suffering for my stomach, always that I'm nervous it hurts but whatever, things that happens. That day mi father was cutting wood and my mom cooking the launch. When it was time of the results, was midnight but the University of Chile always show them before so I was spamming the page to check it out, until the mid-day, nearby that time the results was out, I was accepted in Social Work of the university of Chile, that day was very exciting for me, I cried a lot because I really worked so hard for that score, because I studied in a public school, my parents come to me and hugged me, they don't really u...

A Subject I enjoy studying this semester

Mi favorite subject is called "Segregación en la educación superior" that is more like a course of formation general, but it is a subject as well, the professors are form the different faculties, one is from the faculty of medicine, the other is from the engineering and the last one is from the faculty of philosophy. Every week all the students (also all the students are from different faculties of the university)  have to read a short paper about education, and in the day of the class, students together with professors talk about the paper. They are always different topics about education , for example, reforms of education, education and economic equality, health main and university (this final one is because of the issues around the stress at the university) and more!! we read writers like Paulo Freire, that is a very important person in themes about education. An Expert on Social Work

The person that I choose is Jenny Moreno, I met her when I was doing the practice of my career in the year 2018, she was the teacher leader, she was on her first years working in the University of Chile, and it was my first time in the practice too. Jenny is one of the few professional in the social sciences in Chile who talk and write about natural disasters, especially about the resilience and I think about that topic is very interesting, she studied in the Universidad de Concepción and made his doctor grade on Europe, actually she is the person in charge about the coordination of the practice and also be the teacher guide. Despite that I admire her for her work and all the things that she does, she is also a person with a lot of empathy, she likes to listen to all her students, and ask how are we doing, worrying ab out that, about or mental health, she is always thinking about the things going in the right way, and she is good in her work too, I really want all of you met her, she ...

A band / singer I like

My favorite artist is Silvio Rodriguez, he is a fantastic singer and a revolutionary person, he was born in Cuba in 1946. The first song that I heard of his was "el necio" when I went to the "peña" of communist political party and form that moment I have love him, because his lyrics are beautiful, revolutionary, and they have a special, important and social content, it is really an artist. His music is a type of protest songs, he was inspired by the revolution of Cuba and his songs sometimes relate to a story, for that I am so impressed about him, he has written more than 500 songs!! can you believe that? it is amazing!! You should listen to him, seriously! In this moment my favorite song is "Carta a Violeta Parra", this song is inspired in our Chilean singer, an amazing woman and artist, in this song he wrote about the sons of Violeta and he request for a better world too. A photograph I like

I take the picture a few years ago, like 2015 when I was on my last year of school. This landscape is on tiltil, in front of my house and I like it too much. The tree named "peumo" I think it's  cute, especially on spring, because it will flourish and gave red fruits. This landscape always make me miss my house and my family, play around with my pets,(I have three dogs and two cats) under the tree or breath fresh air, make me remember the quiet and tranquility of my home.(I don't really like Santiago because it's too noisy, and ugly to walk around) Well, at least in a short time I will be there... In my home P.S. I love take pictures, I have a lot of photos of my home, it's awesome and when I travel with my  godparents to the South, I always carry my camera to make some memories with pictures and them!

My Favorite Festivity

Hi, I'm going to tell the story about my favorite festivity, Christmas. Christmas it's a festivity Catholic, celebrated on December 24, for the born of Jesus, the son of God, or that's the history for a lot of person, in my case, and a lot of Chileans, it's a day to stick together with the family, eat a lot of awesome food and gifts, I'm usually the person who buy presents to all the family, I like to think in the person to who I'm buying the present, and see their face opening it. It's just fantastic. That's the reason of why I like that much Christmas, nice food, a lot of gifts and stay with all my family ! P.S.: for that day usually dressed like Santa with my boyfriend or my sister, because I have two younger cousins, and we give to them a lot of presents with all the characterization, that day means a lot of fun!
